Kimberly Demmy Design - Juniper Avenue

After email correspondence and an initial phone meeting to discuss your project, a design consultation will take place at your home and the needs of the project will be evaluated. Before the consultation, it is helpful to gather any material that reflects your interior design likes and dislikes. This may include a Pinterest Board, pictures from magazines, design books, fabric samples, paint swatches, art pieces, etc. If you do not have any design material – no need to worry – we will assist you in identifying your style preferences.

Letter of Agreement, budget and design fees will be discussed and agreed upon during this meeting. Letter of Agreement will need to be signed for any design services to be begin.

Once your general style preferences have been established, we will schedule a time, if needed, to visit local furniture retailers or Design Center to identify colors, patterns/textures, furniture, rugs and art you are drawn to. This process will assit in creating a clear understanding of the direction your project will take.

A Pinterest Board or design board will be created to showcase the direction of the project. The board will include furniture, fabric, paint, flooring, drapery, accessory selections, etc. Floor plans may be created to illustrate the best and most effective use of your space.

Click to see design board examples.

Once the design board and the floor plans are complete, an appointment will be scheduled to review and make any modifications to the proposed design ideas/plans.

Product, finishes and materials will be ordered and outside contracting services will be scheduled.

Once contracting services are complete and all product has arrived – The final installation will be scheduled to complete the design process.
